Whenever I drive in air despite all my efforts be it AC/defogger/blower the outer surface of wind screen gets foggy which reduces the visibility drastically. I have experienced the same with Innova also.

First of all thanks for choosing Mericar.com. As you have mentioned the fog problem you are facing in all of your cars. First of all let me tell you that this is not a problem, it’s a natural process. Let’s compare the situation - if you pour cold water in a glass then immediately you can see water bubbles on the outer surface of the glass similarly this thing happens in car also when the internal temperature of the surface becomes very low in comparison to outer temp. Then condensation takes place and it takes the shape of fog and generally it happens in rainy days or the days when humidity is above 80%. Please take one precaution that please makes sure that the flow of the air should not hit any of the glass (front windshield and Left and right front door glass). At night time please turn the direction of the vents towards the roof will also help you to avoid this fog on glass. Please check it and give us your feedback.

1.yes you can go for lpg but go for imported kit along with imported wiring and valves only. The availability of lpg station is very less so we suggest you to go for cng. Only precaution you should take is that morning you start the car on petrol and drive minimum. 5 kms on petrol and then switch over to cng and the same same at the end of the day. please follow the same in case of lpg.

2. It does not effect the engine directly but it damages starter motor slowly. replace the battery immediately.

3. Car service schedules are as follows:
* first service -1000kms or one monyh from date of purchase * second service -5000kms or six monyhs from date of purchase * third service -10000kms or twelve monyhs from date of purchase * after third service you have to get the service done on every 10000 or one year - which ever is earlier.get the air filter clean after every 2500 kms for better performance .in case if you are going for gas option then better get the engine oil replace after every 5000 kms and also get iac valve cl

i am planning to buy manza, but i heired some problem in it, like back body is touching the bumper when boot is loaded, sterring problem, is this problem with manza in every car or any one car may have? what is your opinion about manza ?

First of all congratulation that you are going for a new car. The problems which you have mentioned is not there in all the cars. It is good value for money solution car. We would suggest you that you take a test drive of manaja and then decide your self . Dear sir...well my eps is not workin fine..the stearing badly vibrates and becomes rock when i turn my car in either direction. The mechanic says that the whole stearing assembly will come new and he told me the price of that around Rs. 40000 . I told him to repair it temporarily. He chrged me Rs 850 but the problem is still there....

As you have mentioned that you have got it checked from some workshop and they have told you that the complete assembly needs to be replaced. Replacing the complete assembly is not the solution because EPS is not a single part. It a assembly of four parts :-
* EPS Motor (EPS)- 22000/-
* controller - 8000/-
* torque sensor- 1000/-
* Rack and Pinion Assembly(RPS) - 2600/-

First three parts are fitted in the cabin near clutch paddle on steering assy and the fourth part is near drive shaft. As you have mentioned that it becomes rock hard at turning only ,this means when you drive straight then power steering works fine.so it means some thing is wrong with the RPS. If PRS is ok then ask the technician to get the torque sensor and contoller checked and in case that both are ok then only you will have to replace the motor. If you don't want to go for new one and looking for old one then you have to look from some junk dealer thru' some road side workshop. There are certain more information required to tell you exact reason of the poor performance of your car. As you have mentioned that Model is Auto 2000. Is it an automatic version or mannual transmission?. On the basis of information provided by you ,it seems that clutch needs overhaul. As you have mentioned that car moves forward and reverse but not properly so this means gear shifting coupling is working. Please take the car to authorised service station and ask them to do do underbody inspection and then take a road test. In case if it is not possible to drive the car to the workshop then you can call on road assistance service. You can also send enquiry to any car workshop in your area.

since the free services are over , i m not sure about private service station. what should be a genuine labour charges for servicing with engine transmission coolant flushing and services like injector service and complete diagnostic testing.

Thanks for contacting us. Since your free services are over and now you'll have to move to private service station. So, it’s recommended that you choose only authorized service station for your car. Nowadays you have Bosch, Castrol, Mobil1 authorized service centres all over India. I can tell you that for regular servicing including all oil checks and filter cleaning for Honda City, it would cost you anywhere between Rs.2, 000 to Rs.4, 000 depending upon the Car workshop that you choose. a) ABS Warning light, Hand Brake Warning light and Power Steering Warning light etc are turned "ON" with Loss of power steering assist while driving at moderate speeds - power assist returned only after restarting the engine.

b) while stopping the vehicle at traffic block, engine stopped with a jerk- all dashboard warning indicators turned ON - trip meter and system clock reset to \"0\" - unlocked the door locks - symptoms may be compared to the effect of an ECU reset with memory flush. Vehicle status is - clutch depressed - brake depressed - engine running at idle speed.
