| Honda to increase focus on used-car business |

Passenger-car maker Honda Siel Passenger-car maker Honda Siel Cars India will increase focus on its used-car business, Auto Terrace, as it expects at least 15 per cent of its total revenues to come from this segment.
Honda�s national head for sales, Mr Ajay Budki, told Business Line that there has been a good response for its used-car business since its launch a year ago. Last year, its contribution to the Indian operations of Honda was around 10 per cent of the total revenues of the company.
Small car
Meanwhile, the work on the small car, which will be launched in India in two years, is progressing in Japan. The vehicle is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 5 lakh to Rs 6 lakh.
The company expects its new compact car, Jazz, to sell about 20,000 units during the year, which is half the number of Honda City sold during the year. The localization content in Jazz, City and Civic is over 70 per cent while in Accord it is about 35 per cent.
