Is the supply chain ready for zero-emission vehicles?

Here is a growing interest in zero-emission vehicles that have environmental and air quality issues. Electric vehicles, in particular, are emerging in major markets around the world. In Norway, the conference represented 56% of new car registrations held in March. In the UK, EV volumes are only 4.6% of the new car market. But the growth was huge: sales tripled in March.

This style appeared in the context of the novel Coronavirus. The world has made significant strides in atmospheric pollution as many cities have locked in and reduced transportation. For example, in the Indian city of New Delhi, particulate matter readings fell 71% in the first week of its launch. Not just in India, people care. A recent survey found that 45% of UK respondents thought the impact on air quality prompted them to rethink their EV ownership plans, while 17% said their decision to switch to EV was irrelevant.
